Reading Through Art: A Workshop with Doris Sommer

Celebrate reading through art! Adults and children 8 and older are invited to the Blanton Museum of Art. We will share and play with the story of Rapunzel (and other Grimm tales)—and make a book cover to tempt readers to check out this story.

This workshop, limited to 20 participants, will be led by Harvard Professor Doris Sommer, whose work promotes literacy around the world.

Feel free to bring a bag lunch or make a brief foray to the Blanton Café.
