Blanton Live: Conversations for Now | How Edo-Era Art Inspires Anime, Manga, and Contemporary Art 

 

Internationally acclaimed artist Gajin Fujita and renowned anime scholar Susan Napier will discuss how traditional Japanese art influences contemporary art and pop culture in Japan and beyond.

What to know before you go:

  • Paid parking: Available at UT’s Brazos Garage. Members get discounted $4 parking, redeemable at Check-In. Rideshares can drop off in the Drop-Off circle on Brazos St. Get tips on bicycle parking and public transportation routes here.  
  • Museum admission included with Blanton Live ticket. The museum is open 10 a.m.–5 p.m. on Sundays. Receive your admission ticket at the Check-In Desk.
  • Check-In at the Check-In Desk or auditorium to receive your wristband for Blanton Live. Blanton Members must show Member Cards or proof of membership to receive discount.
