B Scene: Monster Ball
Your new favorite monsters are throwing a ball — and you’re invited. Enter the whimsical world of Haas Brothers: Uncanny Valley for a night of frightfully good music, aaahhh-rtful activities, and more. Costumes encouraged!
Here’s what awaits you:
- Live music by the epic psychedelic collective Golden Dawn Arkestra, presented by Resound.
- “Monster Mash” Pop-up Print Exhibition — Meet an array of monsters featured in the Blanton’s prints & drawings collection in this one-night-only exhibition.
- Crazy Creatures Scavenger Hunt — Spot the strange and unexpected hiding in the galleries.
- Make your own monster — Get creative with monster origami and the surrealist game “exquisite corpse,” then create your own mini monsters out of clay and beads.
- Costume contest — Come dressed wonderfully weird for a chance to win some monstrous prizes.
